Weleda is privately owned by two non-profit foundations:

• The General Anthroposophical Society (AAG): Located in Dornach, Switzerland, and owns about 40% of the capital and 80% of the voting rights
• The Arlesheim Clinic (KA): Located in Arlesheim, Switzerland, formerly known as Ita Wegman Klinik AG
